I love playing piano, but such is the limited extent of my abilities that I rarely do so for pleasure. The music contained in this album all came about so that I would have nice-sounding music that was well-suited for my performance level. I hope you will enjoy listening as I have enjoyed playing.

A technical note: This music was recorded into a DAW using a hybrid of piano samples. As I do not possess high quality recording equipment (or have access to a beautiful sounding piano), this was the best I could manage. I am content enough with the results, although there were certainly limitations (dynamic range was probably my biggest issue). That said, the performance remains human. I did not use quantizing (with some exceptions in track 7). There are imperfections, but I left many of them in. For better or for worse, I guess it sounds mostly like me.
